The criteria for the Best New Design Blog are:
- Presents a compelling visual experience for readers, both within the site format and in individual posts.
- Demonstrates the potential of the blogging format to convey ideas or subject matter through images.
- Presents its subject matter in a highly visual and graphic manner that is entertaining, educational, and thought provoking.
- Must have been established no earlier than one year prior to the nomination period (i.e. no earlier than November 30, 2011).
- Must have consistently and frequently posted since its inception.
I would like to nominate my blog Fred Gonsowski Garden Home.Com for Best New Design Blog. My blog is in it’s second year, and I cover topics relating to interior decorating and gardening.
Some of the Design posts that I’ve written cover How to Hang Curtains and Drapes, How to pick the Right color for your front Door, Mixing and Matching Patterns, Arranging Furniture, and Decorating for Christmas to name a few.
I’ve also posted many gardening articles that cover planting ideas that I think would work in many different climate zones.
